I’m Leighann Tindle and I’m married to this handsome guy named Erik. We have seven pretty amazing kids, two have headed into their futures but five are here at home. We love them to bits and when I’m not in the garden I’m usually hanging with them or feeding them…I’m always feeding them.

We’ve lived in Benton Illinois for the past nineteen years, it’s home. When we moved into our current home, I began gardening. I started with two small flower beds in the back yard and a bed that was left by the previous owners in the front. I loved it! Overtime I added more beds and more plants, focusing on flowers because they brought us all so much enjoyment. I wanted to surround our home with flower gardens and all the birds, butterflies, bees and dragonflies that come with them.

I soon learned that flowers love to be cut. It keeps them from going to seed and it tells the plant to keep pumping out blooms. I grew so many that my vases were always overflowing. I was gifting to friends and fam but still we were throwing buckets of blooms away. That felt sad to me. That’s when Team Tindle Gardens was born.

TT Gardens allowed me to invest in our garden beds and the pollinators that they supported. More than that, it connected me to this community in an amazing way. By delivering fresh cut flowers to clients throughout Franklin county, I’ve been gifted a front row seat to your precious moments. You’ve used TT Garden flowers to welcome babies, say I love you, celebrate anniversaries, to comfort one another after loss and so much more. To say I feel privileged in this position is an understatement.

I’m heading into my third year of business and our vision and garden have grown a lot. I now provide floral pick ups and deliveries throughout the winter months by working with a floral supply out of Herrin. Their product is beautiful and working with them allows me to continue serving you through fresh flowers. I’ve also expanded the gardens. I’ve purchased several lots in town this year and I’m developing them into a thriving specialty cut flower garden. My hope is to create gorgeous arrangements that allow my clients to connect with nature but more importantly with each other.
